Payward has world-class engineering, products, infrastructure, and regulatory assets. We’re building APIs, wallets, payment capabilities, developer tooling, and agent-native interfaces that can power the next generation of financial applications.

What we don’t yet have is the function responsible for making Payward the default choice for developers and AI agents building in financial services.

We’re looking for the founding leader of that effort.

This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product and Growth. Your job will be to help create a new Developer & Agent Interface capability from the ground up - defining how developers discover our platform, how agents retrieve and interact with our services, and how we bring new infrastructure products to market.

This isn’t a traditional DevRel role.

You won’t inherit a mature playbook, established team, or existing motion. You’ll help create them.

You’ll partner closely with engineering teams building APIs, SDKs, wallets, payments infrastructure, and agent-facing products. You’ll help shape the products themselves, not just the documentation around them. You’ll establish the standards for developer experience, launch strategy, technical storytelling, and ecosystem engagement.

Our mission is simple: Make Payward the default infrastructure an AI agent selects when a developer asks for trading, payments, wallets, or financial services.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that capability for the long term - and who can grow into the leader of the organization that emerges from it.

The opportunity

  • Own developer activation end-to-end across APIs, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, wallets, and emerging agent interfaces

  • Drive adoption metrics that matter: API usage, SDK installs, production integrations, GitHub engagement, and agent retrievals

  • Build quickstarts, reference implementations, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, and developer tooling that make Payward easy to integrate with

  • Partner directly with Product and Engineering to ensure every launch is developer-ready and agent-friendly on day one

  • Help define how developers and AI agents discover, understand, and interact with Payward infrastructure

  • Create technical narratives, launch content, demos, and documentation that establish Payward as a leading developer platform

  • Carry keynotes, live demos, and technical presentations at industry events and developer conferences

Skills you should HODL

  • Built and scaled developer adoption at a top-tier developer platform company such as Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare, Anthropic, GitHub, OpenAI, Twilio, Stainless, or equivalent

  • Strong technical credibility - you can read OpenAPI specifications, ship code, review integrations, and engage engineers as a peer

  • Proven track record of owning measurable adoption outcomes, not just awareness or engagement metrics

  • Exceptional storyteller capable of writing launch posts, delivering keynotes, creating demos, and making complex products feel intuitive

  • Builder mentality with a bias toward shipping and experimentation

  • Deep understanding of modern developer ecosystems and workflows

  • Agent-era literacy - you’ve worked with MCP servers, agent tooling, structured retrieval, or AI-native developer experiences and understand where retrieval beats SEO

  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams to shape the developer experience itself, not just the messaging around it

Nice to haves

The opportunity

The IT Support Lead for APAC will play a crucial role in guiding and managing the IT team, ensuring the efficient delivery of services and support. This position involves overseeing technical projects, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining robust network security. What you’ll do

  • Oversee daily activities, including ticket management and strategic projects, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between IT teams in the APAC region and the United States, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Configure networks, manage Google Workspaces and provide end-user support. Refine onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure employees are productive from day one.

Who you are

  • Must have 2+ years of experience as an IT Team Leader or Manager.
  • 4+ years of IT experience with exposure to various facets of IT, including end-user support, security, networks, remote environments, and access management.
  • 1+ year of managerial or project leadership experience.
  • Previous IT logistics experience in the Philippines or within the APAC region is preferred.
  • Experience in a SaaS-centric environment utilizing Office 365 or Google Workspace, Slack, MDMs, and other cloud management tools to support 400+ team members.
  • Background in supporting both Mac and Windows environments for end-users.

Your job will be to help create a new Developer & Agent Interface capability from the ground up - defining how developers discover our platform, how agents retrieve and interact with our services, and how we bring new infrastructure products to market.

This isn’t a traditional DevRel role.

You won’t inherit a mature playbook, established team, or existing motion. You’ll help create them.

You’ll partner closely with engineering teams building APIs, SDKs, wallets, payments infrastructure, and agent-facing products. You’ll help shape the products themselves, not just the documentation around them. You’ll establish the standards for developer experience, launch strategy, technical storytelling, and ecosystem engagement.

Our mission is simple: Make Payward the default infrastructure an AI agent selects when a developer asks for trading, payments, wallets, or financial services.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that capability for the long term - and who can grow into the leader of the organization that emerges from it.

The opportunity

  • Own developer activation end-to-end across APIs, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, wallets, and emerging agent interfaces

  • Drive adoption metrics that matter: API usage, SDK installs, production integrations, GitHub engagement, and agent retrievals

  • Build quickstarts, reference implementations, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, and developer tooling that make Payward easy to integrate with

  • Partner directly with Product and Engineering to ensure every launch is developer-ready and agent-friendly on day one

  • Help define how developers and AI agents discover, understand, and interact with Payward infrastructure

  • Create technical narratives, launch content, demos, and documentation that establish Payward as a leading developer platform

  • Carry keynotes, live demos, and technical presentations at industry events and developer conferences

  • Represent developers internally by identifying friction, surfacing ecosystem needs, and influencing product direction

  • Help build the long-term DNA, processes, and culture of a world-class Developer & Agent Interface organization

Skills you should HODL

  • Built and scaled developer adoption at a top-tier developer platform company such as Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare, Anthropic, GitHub, OpenAI, Twilio, Stainless, or equivalent

  • Strong technical credibility - you can read OpenAPI specifications, ship code, review integrations, and engage engineers as a peer

  • Proven track record of owning measurable adoption outcomes, not just awareness or engagement metrics

  • Exceptional storyteller capable of writing launch posts, delivering keynotes, creating demos, and making complex products feel intuitive

  • Builder mentality with a bias toward shipping and experimentation

  • Deep understanding of modern developer ecosystems and workflows

  • Agent-era literacy - you’ve worked with MCP servers, agent tooling, structured retrieval, or AI-native developer experiences and understand where retrieval beats SEO

  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams to shape the developer experience itself, not just the messaging around it

Nice to haves

  • Experience building developer platforms from an early stage rather than joining an already mature DevRel organization

About the Role

We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Platform team, which owns foundational services like CIAM, Authorization, Search, API Infrastructure — and the tools, frameworks, and developer experience improvements that power engineering at Juniper Square. You’ll be the senior-most technical voice on the team, blending hands-on engineering with technical leadership, architectural ownership, and cross-functional influence.

We’re looking for an engineer-first quality leader. Someone who came up through AQE or principal engineering, thinks in systems, and is genuinely excited about what agentic AI means for quality.

You’ll lead a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers, own our existing automation estate, and drive a deliberate transition toward agentic quality engineering. Deterministic pipelines today, autonomous test agents tomorrow.

What you’ll own:

  • Quality architecture. Frameworks, toolchain, and the roadmap from traditional automation to agentic solutions. You define how quality is built into the system, not bolted on at the end.
  • A team of 6-10 AQEs. Mentoring, technical direction, and running hands-on pilots alongside them as the team evolves into the agentic era.
  • The existing test automation framework (Java/JS · Selenium · Playwright). Keeping it healthy while evolving it; refactoring what needs it, retiring what doesn’t.
  • Agentic QE design. Partnering with engineering leaders to co-design deterministic agent workflows and non-deterministic (LLM-assisted) approaches, with clear human-in-the-loop governance where it matters.
  • Observability and reporting tooling. Coverage dashboards, flakiness detection, CI quality gates - the visibility layer engineers actually trust.
  • Testing AI-powered features. Behavioral validation, non-deterministic regression, and output evaluation for the product’s own agentic capabilities.
  • Internal tooling. Building tools that make the broader engineering org faster and more quality-conscious, not just the QE team.

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years in software engineering, AQE, or SDET with a clear arc toward quality leadership
  • 5+ years hands-on with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, deep enough to design novel solutions, not just configure existing ones
  • 3+ years leading AQE or engineering teams hands-on, running pilots, driving adoption, and getting their hands dirty alongside the team
  • Strong automation architecture chops: you design frameworks, not just write tests
  • Proven experience driving quality initiatives and change management across engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools in production
  • Familiarity with agentic/LLM concepts: evaluating model outputs, handling non-determinism, and agent orchestration patterns
  • CI/CD integration, shift-left thinking, and quality-by-design fluency
  • English B2+

The right person for this role doesn’t come from QA management. They come from engineering. They’ve been the de-facto quality authority on their team before having the title. They can whiteboard quality architecture with platform engineers, drive an agentic pilot with their team the next day, and review a PR the day after that.
